Diana Vicker, 67, of Creston died Feb. 21, 2014, at her home.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Creston. The Rev. Kenneth Halbur Jr. will officiate. She has been cremated, and burial will be at a later date. Visitation with family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be given to Diagonal Fire Departmen. Diana Lynn Vicker, daughter of Beryl D. (Miller) and A.J. Weber, was born Nov. 3, 1946, in Creston.
Diana grew up in Shannon City and graduated from East Union High School in 1965.
On April 8, 1967, Diana married John E. “Jack” Vicker.
Diana furthered her education at Southwestern Community College, where she graduated in 1971 with an associate of arts degree.
Diana and Jack lived on a farm south of Diagonal, where she was a bookkeeper for Jack’s business and a homemaker.
In 1991, Diana and Jack moved to Commerce City, Colo., where they lived until moving to Creston in 2013.
Diana is survived by her husband Jack Vicker of Creston, daughter Jacque (husband Gary) Booth and their son Taylor Booth, all of Creston; daughter Lisa (husband Jim) Taylor and their children, Jacob, Ty, Bailey and Caleb Taylor, all of Diagonal; siblings, Shirley (husband John) Henry of Creston and David (wife Natalie) Weber of Queens Creek, Ariz.; sisters-in-law, Betty Weber of Orange, Calif., Kay Hardig of Broomfield, Colo., and Jean (husband Luther) Haight of Urbandale.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, James R. “Bob” Weber, Richard “Dick” Weber, Larry Weber, Paul Eugene Weber and Dolores (husband Perry) Christensen.
