Adair County Memorial Hospital planning outpatient renovation

GREENFIELD — Adair County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees and Executive Officers announce the plan to renovate part of Adair County Memorial Hospital (ACMH).

The goal of the Adair County Health System (ACHS) is to maintain quality services in Adair County. In order to provide these services a renovation will need to take place. This includes outpatient areas, operating room, specialty clinic area and registration.

There will be no increase in the property tax rate for Adair County residents for ACMH. At this time, the Adair County Health Foundation will not be actively seeking donations, but will accept restricted donations toward the renovation.

The previous project accommodated inpatient services. Now, the plan is to mirror the accommodations to meet growing outpatient needs.

At this time, ACMH Board of Trustees and Executive Officers are exploring architect firms to come up with the best plan by looking at services ACHS is wanting to provide while looking toward the future of Adair County Memorial Hospital.

The goal of Adair County Health System is to keep the community informed moving forward. For more information, contact Angela Mortoza, CEO, at 641-743-7234 or amortoza@adaircountyhealthsystem.org.
