Brandon Douglas Gale, 34, of Creston died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.

Celebration of life services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Jim Woodworth will officiate. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Open Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. today at Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St. with family present 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Brandon Douglas Gale, son of Judy Elaine (Kemper) and Frank Dudley Gale, was born March 27, 1979, in Kirksville, Mo. The family moved from Missouri to Creston when Brandon was 4 months old. Brandon graduated from Creston High School in 1998 and attended a community college. During high school, Brandon was the team manager for both the wrestling and cross country teams.

In 2000, Brandon began working at Creston Nursing and Rehab Center where he worked in housekeeping doing laundry. He also was currently employed by Walmart stocking the magazine racks.

Brandon was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Creston and Sons of the American Legion. Brandon was also a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, Iowa State Rabbit Breeders Association and Indian Hills Rabbit Club, Platte Producers 4-H Club and participated in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts until his freshman year in high school.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Frank and Judy Gale of Creston; sisters, Angie Davis and Tiffany Gale, both of Creston; grandmother Anita Kemper of Branson, Mo.; nephews and nieces, Tony Wojtalewicz who is stationed in Afghanistan, Krisha and Kayla Davis, both of Omaha, Neb., and Trevor and Katelinn Davis, both of Creston, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theryl and Ruth Gale and grandfather Arthur Kemper.
