Patricia Stephens Lorimor

Patricia “Pat” Stephens, 76, of Lorimor died March 15, 2013, at her home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Word of Life Family Church near Winterset. Burial will be in Lorimor Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Friday with family present 6 to 8 p.m. at Ochiltree Funeral Service, 1823 N. John Wayne Dr., Winterset. Patricia Lou Orwan, daughter of Maxine (Detty) and William Orwan. was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Lorimor.

She graduated from Lorimor High School.

On Oct. 3, 1954, Pat married Larry Miles Stephens.

Pat was an artist and owned her business, Praise Paintings. She was also a homemaker and farmwife.

Pat was a member of the Word of Life Christian Center. She volunteered with many organizations.

Pat is survived by her children, Rusty (Mary Beth) Stephens of Lorimor, Todd (Dawn) Stephens of Urbandale, Cindy Mitchell of Afton, Margaret (Randy) Johnson of Centerville, Mark (Sandra) Stephens of Indianola and Brenden (Carrie) Stephens of Urbandale; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister Sharon (George) King of Treynor and several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Randy Stephens and granddaughter Kelcie Stephens.
