Lenox Police

The Lenox Police Department received a report of vandalism at the gazebo in Lenox City Park Aug. 21. A city worker was able to identify a group of juveniles believed to have been involved in the damage. After officers spoke with the juveniles and reviewed surveillance camera photos, four juveniles were identified.

All four juveniles have been referred to a juvenile court officer for collection of the damages.

Anastasia Imsland, 19, of Lenox, was issued a citation for passing a stopped school bus 3:40 p.m. Wednesday.

According to a Lenox Police report, a Lenox school bus driver reported their bus was passed from the rear by a driver while it was stopped at the Catholic Church.

Imsland was required to appear before the magistrate.

Freddy Rameriez, 39, of Lenox, was charged •:30 p.m. Thursday for attempted sexual assault and also charged with indecent conduct with a minor Saturday.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers received a report of an attempted sexual assault in the 600 block of S. Main St. An investigation showed that Rameriez had lured a 12-year-old female into his trailer home. Once inside, he attempted to remove her clothing. The female was able to get away from Rameriez. The investigation was conducted by the Lenox Police Department, with assistance from Taylor and Adams County Sheriff's offices.

Rameriez is being held in the Taylor County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Pedro Quintanilla Flores, 41, of Lenox was charged 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers stopped a vehicle driven by Flores for an equipment violation. A routine check of Flores' driver's license showed it to be twice suspended for non-payment of Iowa fines.

Flores was transported to the Taylor County Jail.
