Wallace, Garrison wed in Boone

Amy Michelle (Wallace) and Cody James Garrison, both of Creston, were married in a 6 p.m. June 15 ceremony at Central Christian Church in Boone.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Tammy Wallace of Perry. The groom is the son of Jeff Garrison and Tammy Garrison.

The Rev. Gary Sneller of Boone officiated the ceremony.

Maid of honor was Jessica Seuferer of Ankeny.

Bridesmaids were Molly Vander Linden of Spencer, Kelly Hansen of Ames and Morgan Christenson of Boone, cousin of the bride.

Bride's personal attendants were Brandy Garrison of Avoca, sister of the groom, and Sarah Gunsolley of Diagonal.

Best man was Jeremy Sohn of West Des Moines.

Groomsmen were Doug Rolwes of Epworth, Clint Wallace of West Des Moines and Zach Leiser of Tama.

Ushers were Brian Wallace of Urbandale, brother of the bride, Mikel Hansen of Ames and Eric Williams of Waukee.

Flower girl was Rachel Hoppe of Chanhassen, Minn., cousin of the bride.

Ringbearer was Alex Gifford of Avoca, nephew of the groom.

Honored guests were the groom's grandparents, Merle and Fran Bettcher and Cleo Lawyer, all of Harlan, and the bride's grandmother Rosie Wallace of Boone.

A reception was held at Hickory's Hall in Ames.

Reception hosts were Kaylynne and Shawn Christenson of Boone.

The bride graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a degree in elementary education and works at Creston Elementary as a Title I reading teacher.

The groom graduated from Simpson College with a degree in psychology and works at Data Vision in West Des Moines.

The couple reside in Creston.
