CORNING — Eddie Elliott, songwriter, guitarist and stage performer, will perform a live acoustic concert 7:30 p.m. July 12 at Corning Opera House Cultural Center, 800 Davis Ave., Corning. Adult ($12) and student ($6) tickets may be purchased by calling the opera house or at the door.
Eddie's love of music began when he was a small boy singing along with the radio and continued throughout his high-school years. After college in 1998, he headed to Los Angeles and soon became the opening act at area clubs, attracting a devoted audience. Soon after he embarked on a 25-city tour and made a second CD. By 2005, Eddie Elliott was appearing on live television and "Good Morning Arizona & Texas." He has performed coast to coast with such seasoned performers as Junior Brown, Shawn Mullins, Dave Wilcox and John Gorka.
Elliott's rock acoustic sound is good soul music.
