Marcia Mark, 54, of Creston died April 7, 2012, at her home in Creston.

Services will be held in Oklahoma at a later date. Open visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, with family present 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25. Memorials are to be established. Online condolences may be left at www.powersfh.com.

Marcia Hope (Skelton) Mark, daughter of Margaret Jane (Rider) and Herman Gene Skelton, was born March 21, 1958, in Tulsa, Okla.

Marcia graduated from high school in Tahlequah, Okla.

She worked as a medical assistant and phlebologist, then moved to Tulsa and worked as a gemologist.

In 2003, Marcia moved to Creston and worked at Woodmark in Winterset and Precision Optical and Gits Manufacturing in Creston.

On Nov. 13, 2004, Marcia married Michael Wayne Mark in Creston.

Marcia was a member of the Cherokee Nation Heritage.

Marcia is survived by her husband Michael Mark of Creston; children, Joe Orr of Sapulpa, Okla., and Courtney Keigley of Tulsa, Okla.; brothers, Mickey Rider of Tahlequah, Okla., and Mark Skelton and Jack Welty, both of Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica Keigley; mother- and father-in-law Larry and Jean Mark of Creston; brothers-in-law, Tim (wife Elaine) Mark of Houston, Texas, and their children, Gillian and Andrew Mark and Jeff Mark of Clear Lake and his children, Jennifer and Daniel Mark; sister-in-law Liz (husband Fred) Carpenter of Mesa, Ariz., and their children, Taylor Jane, Kate and Logan Carpenter; and sister-in-law Julie Stewart (husband Larry Smith) of Creston.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and sister Shirley.
