William Dewayne Crispin, 42, of Lorimor was charged 8:20 p.m. Friday with driving while barred and on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, a Lorimor man called the Union County Law Enforcement Center and advised Crispin had driven through his yard. After officers spoke to the man at his residence, the man said he would drive around and help officers locate the vehicle. The vehicle was located at a residence in Lorimor a short time later. The officer located Crispin at the residence and informed him there was a Dallas County warrant out for his arrest and his license was barred. After further investigation, it was determined Crispin was driving the vehicle when it was driven through the yard of the Lorimor man.
Crispin was released on $2,000 bond.
