Konner Evan Klommhaus, 15, of Mount Ayr died in an auto accident Sept. 24, 2011.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Mount Ayr High School gymnasium. The Rev. Chris Conklin and the Rev. Barton Shields will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr. Visitation with family present will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Konner Evan Klommhaus, son of Deborah (Faris) and Kory Klommhaus, was born March 25, 1996, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Konner was a sophomore at Mount Ayr Community High School.

He was a member of Future Farmers of America, T.S.A. and Jr. Farmer’s 4-H.

Konner is survived by his parents Debbie Klommhaus and Kory Klommhaus of Mount Ayr; sister Kylee Kay Klommhaus; brother Gavyn Dean Klommhaus; grandparents, Lyle (wife Betty) Faris and Kay Faris, all of Mount Ayr, Jewel (husband Ron) Baseley of Creston and Gene Klommhaus of Ellston; great-grandmother Carol Blanken of Creston; aunt Dianna (husband Jeff) Taylor and cousin Alaina Brincks; aunt Deanna Pennings and cousin Taylor Pennings; uncle Kevin (wife Shellie) Klommhaus and cousins, Kaitlyn, Kasydi and Kade Klommhaus; and uncle Kelly (wife Christy) Klommhaus and cousins, Keirston, Keelan, Kolban and Kacee Klommhaus.

Konner was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Wilbur and Eva Faris, Rupert Johnston, DonNell (Russell) Boyd, Bud Blanken and Clarence and Viola Klommhaus.
