Patricia Marshall, 75, of Lenox died Aug. 29, 2011, at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Corning.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Lenox United Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in North Fairview Cemetery in Lenox. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday with the family present 5 to 7 p.m. at Ritchie Funeral Home, 124 S. Main St., Lenox. Memorials may be given in Patricia's name. Patricia Ann Bender Marshall, daughter of Kathryn (Berry) and Wesley Bender, was born Nov. 3, 1935, in Richland Center, Wis. She grew up in Wisconsin.

On April 28, 1953, Patty married Leonard Gene Marshall. They moved to Iowa in 1967 and raised seven children.

Patty worked many years as a bartender at Big Johns and then Dally Post.

Patty is survived by her daughters, Patricia and Joan of Lenox and Debbie of Des Moines; sons, Micheal (wife Becky) of Tingley, Robert (wife Mandy) of Sharpsburg, David (wife Sandy) of Lenox and Richard (fiancée Shelly) of Lenox; brother Wesley Bender Jr. (wife Sugar) of Walworth, Wis.; adopted grandma Hilda Rundlett of Lenox; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many other family and friends.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband in July of 2007; parents; sister Jeanette Marshall; brothers, Ronald and Edward Bender; and son-in-law Gary Duncan.
