Calvin Coolidge Rinehart, 86, of Creston died July 14, 2011, at his home.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. today, July 18, at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Mo. The Rev. Len Green officiated. Interment was in Allendale Cemetery.
Calvin Coolidge Rinehart, son of Pearl (Montgomery) and Ira Rinehart, was born March 4, 1925, in Allendale, Mo.
On July 12, 1946, Calvin married Leatrice M. Golliday.
Calvin served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a truck driver.
Calvin is survived by his wife Leatrice of Creston; sons, Danny Rinehart of Davis City and Jerry Rinehart of Des Moines; daughter Debbie Burton of Maloy; brothers, Leland Rinehart of Smithville, Mo., and Homer Rinehart of Mount Ayr; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; son Steve Rinehart; daughter Diane Hartley; brothers, Claude, Lloyd, Verne, Orval and Clyde Rinehart; and sisters, Jeannette Miller, Mrytle Tschudin, Darcie Rinehart and Velma James.
