Celia Bruning of Stanton and Chris Helm of Creston were married in a Dec. 18 ceremony at Hillside Missionary Church in Clarinda. The Rev. Brian Bontrager performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Elitha Bruning of Stanton. The groom is the son of Scott and Darla Helm of Creston.
Matron of honor was Rachel Clemens, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Samantha Mattingly, Morgan Porter and Lindsey Barton, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Archie Smith.
Groomsmen were Keith Smith and Ryan and Tyler Helm, brothers of the groom.
Ushers were Joshua and Luke Bruning, brothers of the bride, Justin Clemens, brother-in-law of the bride, and Blake Thomas, cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Addison Koelker, cousin of the bride.
Ringbearer was Easton Koelker, cousin of the bride.
A reception was held at Hillside Missionary Church hall in Clarinda.
A honeymoon was planned in Kansas City, Mo.
The bride graduated from Stanton High School in 2009 and will graduate from Southwestern Community College in June with a registered nursing degree. She is a piano accompanist at the United Methodist Church in Creston.
The groom graduated from Creston High School in 2008 and will graduate from Southwestern Community College in June with a registered nursing degree. He is a LPN at Creston Nursing and Rehab.
The couple reside in Creston.
