Musician bringing “Mufftar” to Creston concert

Helping the community is music to the ears of Creston Southside Booster Club members.

On Oct. 23, the Southside Booster Club will sponsor a benefit concert. The Doug Gabriel Show of Branson, Mo., is coming to Creston.

The show will be held at the Creston High School Auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m. The South Side Booster Kitchen Band will open for Gabriel at 6:25 p.m., followed by Gabriel’s show at 7 p.m.

“I’ve seen the show,” said Darlene Loudon, president of the Southside Booster Club, “It’s a very good show. They are very good entertainers.”

The Doug Gabriel Show has performed in Branson for 24 years. Gabriel produces and directs his own show, writes the songs, plays guitar, piano, and “Mufftar,” and sings.
