CORNING — A Corning woman died after an accident at the intersection of Quince Avenue and 150th Street in Adams County 5:08 p.m. Thursday.
According to an Iowa State Patrol report, Lauren Anderson, 20, of Corning, driving a 2005 Dodge west on 150th Street, failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a 1992 International semitrailer owned by Cooper Trucking of Prescott and driven south on Quince Avenue by Justin Cooper, 25, of Prescott.
Both vehicles entered the west ditch after the collision.
Anderson was transported by air ambulance to Creighton University Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
There was no report of injuries to Cooper.
The Iowa State Patrol said no charges have been filed and the accident is under investigation.
