Best of both worlds

It’s all about providing a family atmosphere at Adams Street Country Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Creston.

“I’ve had four kids that have grown up and basically left,” said owner Sandy Harris. “I find myself with a nice house with lots of room. So, I thought it made sense to do the bed and breakfast, and I enjoy cooking and I enjoy people.”

The bed and breakfast offers five bedrooms, a private entrance, computer and Internet service, whirlpool, fishing ponds, satellite television, pool table, kitchenette, outdoor deck and grill, washer and dryer.

The business’ grand opening is scheduled for June 8, however Harris is already taking reservations. Her first customers are from Chicago and Kansas City and will arrive for Memorial Day weekend.
