Jessica Moeller, 30, of Decorah, formerly of Creston, died Feb. 1, 2010, at her home.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Mgsr. Gerald Stessman of Des Moines will officiate. There will be no public viewing. Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Friday with 6 p.m. Christian Wake Service and family present 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Pearson-Coen-Beaty Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Jessica Moeller, daughter of Patricia Ann (Jungwirth) and Steven Allen Moeller, was born Sept. 24, 1979, in Aberdeen, S.D.
Jessica’s family moved to Creston when she was 3 months old.
Jessica graduated from Creston High School in 1998 and received a presidential scholarship to Luther College. Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College in Decorah in 2002.
Jessica moved to Iowa City and received her master of arts degree in library science from University of Iowa in 2004.
In 2007, Jessica returned to Decorah and worked at Decorah Public Library for the past two years.
Jessica is survived by her parents Steven and Patricia Moeller of Creston; brother Steven Moeller of Creston; paternal grandparents Allen and Villa Moeller of Redfield, S.D.; maternal grandmother Crystal Jungwirth of Redfield, S.D.; paternal aunts, uncles and cousins, Joe and Lana Francis and Jonathan, Alexandra and Michael of Herdon, Va., James and Sandy Rikard and Ashley, Mike and James of Lawton, Okla., and Lisa Moeller (friend Russ Franks) and Levi of Redfield, S.D.; maternal aunts, uncles and cousins, David Jungwirth of Aberdeen, S.D., Joe and Jolene Jungwirth and Tasha, Trent and Tori of Redfield, S.D., Dave and Kathy Fox and Corey, Jason and Monse’ of Phoenix, Ariz., Jeff Jungwirth of San Diego, Calif., Rich and Jane Siddons and Bailey and Parker and Terri Pfister and Dakota, all of Spokane, Wash., and Brian and Tammi Schone and Rustin, Ashley, Tyler and Keilee of Tulare, S.D.
Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Elmer Jungwirth and maternal uncle Dan Jungwirth.
