Beth Clausen and Lee Madison, both of Orient, were married in a 5 p.m. Aug. 22 outdoor ceremony at Three Mile Lake Lodge in Afton.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Deb Clausen of Creston. The groom is the son of Bob Madison and Dora Atteberry, both of Creston.
Matron of honor was Michelle Sevier of Waukee, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaid was Megan Brown of Monticello.
Best man was Chass Ossian of Creston, cousin of the groom.
Groomsman was Erik Clausen of Creston, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Nick Schultz and Ryan Heatherington, both of Creston, and Josh Sevier of Waukee, brother-in-law of the bride.
Flower girl was Haylee Morgan of Creston, niece of the groom.
Ringbearers were Brayton and Garrick Clausen of Creston, nephews of the bride.
A reception was held at Three Mile Lake Lodge following the ceremony.
The bride graduated from Creston High School in 2005 and Buena Vista University in 2009 with a degree in business management and administration. She is employed as an administrative assistant with Mid America Trenchers in Lenox.
The groom graduated from Creston High School in 2003 and Northwest Iowa Community College in 2005 with a degree in powerline technology. He is employed as a lineman with Farmers Electric REC in Greenfield.
The couple reside in Orient and are planning a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic in January.
