Emily Ford and Seth Balvanz, both of Lake In the Hills, Ill., announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Ford is the daughter of Charles and Angela Ford of Orient. She is a 2000 graduate of Orient-Macksburg High School and 2004 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor of science degree in horticulture and a minor in design. She is employed as a senior account representative with Acres Group Landscaping in Wauconda, Ill.
Balvanz is the son of Richard and Jolene Balvanz of Marion. He is a 2000 graduate of Linn-Mar High School and 2004 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor of science degree in horticulture and a minor in nursery production and management. He is also employed as a senior account representative with Acres Group.
An Aug. 8 wedding is planned in East Dundee, Ill.
