Union County arrests - April 29, 2024

Lisa M. Hager, 40, of Thayer, was taken into custody April 28, at her residence on the charge of domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury.

According to a Union County report, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Hager assaulted a male who lives with her. She grabbed the victim by his hair and facial hair and grabbed both sides of his neck. Deputies observed red marks on both sides of the victim’s neck. The victim said Hager clawed his rib cage area with her fingernails and had visible scratches on his side. Deputies also observed a mark on the victim’s upper lip, where the victim stated Hager hit him.

Hager told deputies the two had been arguing and admitted grabbing the victim but denied hitting him.

Hager was transported to the Adams County Jail and held without bond until seen by a magistrate.
