A driver was cited Tuesday following a two-vehicle accident in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:37 p.m a 2012 Chrysler Town and County, driven by Destani R. Richardson, 20, of Creston, was eastbound on Summit Street when it crossed Elm Street and struck a northbound 2012 Infiniti SUV, driven by Jenna L. Crago, 29, of Creston.
Richardson said she looked but did not see any cross traffic. Crago told officers the Town and Country did not stop at the posted stop sign. Richardson was issued a citation for failure to yield from a stop sign.
Damage to the Town and Country was estimated at $2,500 and damage to the Infiniti was estimated at $5,000.
