Charles McGahuey, 93, of Mount Ayr, died March 5, 2010, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7 at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Edward Shields officiated. Burial was in Elk Chapel Cemetery west of Decatur City with military rites by Ringgold Post No. 172 and the Army National Guard Honor Squad. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa.
