MOUNT AYR — The Little House in Mount Ayr is a home away from home.

That’s according to Mary Ellen Taylor, co-owner of the Little House, which is a cottage-style guest home, which guests and their families can reserve to stay in.

“Somebody wrote in the guest book it’s a little house with a big heart,” Taylor said. Taylor owns and operates the business with her husband Carroll.
