Southern Prairie YMCA and Southwestern Community College Adult and Continuing Education are ready to get people out of their winter blues and into spring with their fifth Home and Garden Show at the YMCA and SWCC Performing Arts and Technical centers.

“Hopefully so, after this winter,” said Joyce Baker, Southern Prairie YMCA office manager.

The event will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and will showcase businesses in southwest and south-central Iowa that provide services including landscaping and gardening, remodeling, home decorating, new home construction, alternative energy, sustainable living and leisure ideas.
