Nichole Ott, 36, and David Giles, 34, both of 401 Washington St., Diagonal, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance — methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance — marijuana, unlawfully manufacture or deliver methamphetamine, unlawfully manufacture or deliver marijuana, failure to affix drug stamp and unlawful possession of prescription drugs 9:30 p.m. Monday at their residence.
According to a Ringgold County Sheriff’s report, the Afton Police Department called about conducting a search warrant at Ott and Giles’ residence in Diagonal for stolen property. the search was conducted and the property was seized and turned over to Afton Police. While inside the residence, officers spotted visible drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics. Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office applied for and was granted another search warrant. Marijuana, methamphetamine, prescription drugs, paraphernalia and items for the intent to deliver were seized. Afton Police, Creston Police, Union County Sheriff’s Office and Taylor County Sheriff’s Office assisted in executing the search warrant.
Ott and Giles were each being held on $20,000 bond in the Ringgold County Jail.
