Auditions for Neil Simon’s female version of The Odd Couple will be held 4:30 to 6 p.m. March 8 and 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 9 in the auditorium at the Corning Opera House Cultural Center. The plot sees the lead characters Olive Madison and Florence Unger and their girlfriends enjoying their weekly game of Trivial Pursuit in Olive’s messy apartment. As the game continues, Olive invites neurotic Florence to move in with her. Messy Olive and obsessively tidy Florence clash testing their friendship to the limit. When a double date is arranged, their differences come to a head and sparks fly. The comedic cast requires six females and two males. The director is Carol Hardisty with De Heaton assisting.
Performances will be April 24, 25 and 26.
