Paul Norton, 62, of Bedford, was charged with fifth-degree theft 12:30 p.m. Friday at 2058 Hunter Trail in Corning.
According to an Adams County Sheriff’s report, Norton was observed taking rear wheel weights from a tractor.
Norton was being held in the Adams County Jail on $300 bond.

Joshua Strange, 33, of Clarinda, was charged with possession of a controlled substance 12:07 a.m. Sunday on the 2700 block of Elm Avenue in Corning.
According to an Adams County Sheriff’s report, Strange was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to be in possession of a small bag of methamphetamine.
Strange was being held in the Adams County Jail on $100 bond.

Casey Baker, 29, of Indianola, was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 1st and 7th avenues in Prescott.
According to an Adams County Sheriff’s report, Baker was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to be in possession of a waxy substance containing THC, the main chemical in marijuana.
Baker was being held in the Adams County Jail on $1,000 bond.
