Raymond Ferrington, 53, of Limon, Colorado, was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability after an accident 6:26 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of South Sumner Avenue and West Adams Street.
According to a Creston Police report, Ferrington was driving a 2001 Nissan north on West Adams Street and attempted to stop at the intersection but could not due to weather conditions. Ferrington’s vehicle hit the front passenger’s side of a 2005 Dodge driven by Kirby Queener of Creston.
Estimated damage was $3,000 Ferrington’s Nissan and $2,000 to Queener’s Dodge.
