Shanda Kile, 27, 1842 Luther Circle, was charged with a Union County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of second-offense possession of a controlled substance 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Union County Law Center.

Kile was released from the Union County Jail on original bond until forfeiture hearing.

Bradford Boyer, 20, 806 N. Mulberry St., was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of fifth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree attempted burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and public intoxication 2:45 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of West Prairie and North Division streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Boyer kicked open a door to a house located at 313 N. Sycamore St. and entered the resident. Boyer was confronted by an armed homeowner and fled. While officers attempted to locate Boyer at this location, dispatch received another call from 508 Levy St. with the caller stating to have seen someone matching Boyer’s description break a window before running north while yelling. Dispatch received a third call saying Boyer had run through their house. Officers arrived to the scene and located Boyer attempting to flee on foot. Boyer had the odor of alcohol and displayed signs of intoxication.

Boyer was being held in the Union County Jail on $30,900 bond.

Brad Lemon, 39, 600 N. Poplar St., was charged on a Union County Warrant for the charge of violation of protection order 3:34 p.m. Friday at the Union County Law Center.

According to a Creston Police report, Lemon admitted to being at the residence of a victim with whom he currently has a no-contact order.

Lemon was being held in the Union County Jail on $300 bond.

Garrett Woodhull, 27, 400 S. Division St., was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault 12:17 a.m. Saturday at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, officers heard pounding sounds coming from inside the residence followed by the breaking of a window. Officers entered Woodhull’s residence and the victim said they had been assaulted by Woodhull.

Woodhull was being held in the Union County Jail on $300 bond.

Johnny Agans, 50, 1501 N. Lincoln St. Apt. 14, was charged with assault 5:35 p.m. Saturday at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, Agans had been drinking and began a dispute with a neighbor, who he shoved, punched in the face and placed in a choke hold.

Agans was being held in the Union County Jail on $300 bond.

Ashton Olson, 28, 1015 Manor Drive, was charged with public intoxication 2:12 a.m. Sunday on the 100 block of North Elm Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Olson was intoxicated in the alley behind The Elms Club and acting irrationally.

Olson was released from the Union County Jail on $300 bond.

Joseph Bartlett, 40, of Council Bluffs, was charged with driving while barred 2 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of South Spruce and West Adams streets.

Bartlett was released from the Union County Jail on a promise to appear granted by the court.

Tiffany Gale, 502 N. Maple St., reported a theft 10 a.m. Thursday at her residence.

According to a Creston Police report, someone entered the vehicle parked at Gale’s residence and took cash, four six-packs of soda and vehicle documents sometime around 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

Estimated loss was $80.

Douglas Harms, 612 N. Pine St., reported a theft 10 a.m. Thursday at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, someone entered the garage at Harms’ residence and entered a vehicle parked inside the garage. The person took a black/brown with gold trim Taurus 9mm handgun, a black/grey SCCY CPX2 9mm handgun, five knives and a chainsaw sometime between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. Thursday.

Estimated loss was $1,650.
