Wayne Beck, 92, of Lenox died Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 at Creston Specialty Care.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Lenox. Visitation will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Ritchie Funeral Home in Lenox from with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Lunch will follow the services with interment in Clearfield Cemetery. Wayne Edward Beck, son of William Beck and Fannie Velma (Baker) Beck, was born May 6, 1927, in Ringgold County. He grew up attending school in Clearfield, graduating with the class of 1946. After graduation he attended Iowa State University for one year. He returned to the Lenox/Clearfield area to farm.

On August 22, 1948, Wayne married Grace Mary Callison at Calvary Methodist Church. Mary and Wayne lived in Lenox for a short time before moving to the family farm where they farmed.

Wayne worked as a machinist at Tote Systems in Lenox. He was a of the United Methodist Church.

Wayne is survived by his children: Trudy (Terry) Weaver of Sharpsburg; Nancy (NL) Pugh of Cameron, Missouri; Peggy (Tony) Althaus of Bellevue; Mary Lou (Jim) Cabeen of Mason City; eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law: Hank and Caroline Garner, George Callison and Joan Callison; along with many other family members and friends.

Preceding Wayne in death were his parents William and Fannie Beck; wife Grace Mary; siblings: Wanda (Paul) Duncan and Cecil (Fern) Beck; brothers-in-law: Jack Callison and Don Callison; and granddaughter, Jennifer Jodine Wolfe.
