Delson Ross Grantham, 22, of Fontanelle was charged with second-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, driving while sups ended and speeding 68 in a 55 mph zone 9:15 p.m. Sunday.

According to a Taylor County Sheriff’s report, deputies observed a 2009 Ford driven by Grantham traveling west on Highway 2 at 68 mph. Deputies noted an odor of alcohol on his breath. When Grantham opened the center console, deputies could see a bottle of Tito’s Vodka in plain view. Grantham handed the bottle to the deputies. Grantham failed the field sobriety tests. After being transported to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Grantham’s blood alcohol measured .124.

Grantham was being held at the Taylor County Jail on $2,300 bond.
