Lenox, Southwest Valley run at Clarinda
CLARINDA – Southwest Valley and Lenox took to the course Tuesday afternoon, running in the Clarinda’s cross country meet.
Lenox was unable to have any runners score points due to team size. The Southwest Valley girls placed sixth and the boys placed 10th.
McKinna Hogan was the leader for the Lenox girls, placing 15th with a time of 25:35.28. Teammate Makynna England finished with a time of 49:43.81 for 77th.
Southwest Valley’s leader at the end of the day was Sydney Davies, running a 27:53.78 for 24th place.
Aubrey Boswell was the next quickest of the Timberwolf girls, running a 28:36.65 for 32nd. Halle Pearson was not far off her pace with a time of 28:56.02 for 34th.
On the boys side, Southwest Valley’s leading time was Adam Harris’ 22:34.59 for 48th place. Blake Venteicher was the 72nd fastest and the next quickest SWV runner at 24:33.99.
Lenox’s Blake Rychnovski had the only time for the Tiger boys, running a 26:37.00 for 93rd.
Central Decatur Invitational
LEON – Diagonal was the lone area school to race at the Central Decatur Tuesday night.
Diagonal’s Alex Baker placed 44th with a time of 23:43.00. Skyler Stamps was the other Maroons runner to place, clocking a time of 26:59.00 for 55th.
The Maroons did not register a team score due to not meeting the minimum runners.
