The Lenox City Council will meet in regular session 5:30 Sept. 9 in city hall. The agenda will include public hearing on proposed 2019 amendment to urban renewal plan for Lenox economic development, mayor’s report, law enforcement report, committee reports, special events permit for homecoming parade, street financing report, ratifying sale of property located at 104 W. Ohio St., employee wages, discuss recommendation from planning and zoning commission, approve reading one of ordinance 387 for the division of taxes levied on taxable property in the 2019 addition to the Lenox economic development.

Mount Ayr Community School Board of Education will meet in regular session 5 p.m. Sept. 9 in the board room. The agenda will include activity fund report, buildings and grounds report, transportation report, lunch report, technology report, principal’s report, athletic complex lighting, school auction date, baseball field dirt work, retaining wall bids, delegate assembly representative, volunteer coaches, fundraising requests lane change, FFA trip to national convention, preliminary AB reports, and districts financial report.

Union County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session 9 a.m. Sept. 11 in the board room in the Union County Courthouse. The agenda will include open forum, hiring county attorney assistant, budget amendment, secondary roads maintenance activity report, disabled veteran homestead credit, homestead and military credit allowances, BPTC credit, homestead and military credit disallowances, and monthy veterans affairs report.
