Fall Activity Night
The annual Parents Activity Night at Creston Community High School will be held Thursday evening at the school.
All parents of students in fall activities are encouraged to attend the meeting with coaches and lead instructors. Those unable to attend are encouraged to pick up materials and information at the school office.
Activity tickets will be sold at the event and Creston Activities Booster Club will be present with clothing apparel and membership information.
The Aug. 22 schedule:
5-6 p.m. — Volleyball scrimmage, gym
5 p.m. — Vocal parents meeting, vocal room
5:30 p.m. — Band parents meeting, band room
6 p.m. — Volleyball parents meeting, gym
6 p.m. — Cross country parents meeting, media center
6:30 p.m. — Football parents meeting, auditorium
Fall kickoff
Creston Activities Booster Club will host the Fall Activities Kickoff Saturday night at Crestmoor Golf Club.
Social hour is 5 p.m. with a pork chop dinner served at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance from booster club representatives Joni Gillam, Leslie Wurster or Melissa Driskell.
A bags tournament begins at 5 p.m. with a team entry fee of $25. The event also includes a silent auction and raffle.
