2019 Shrine Bowl

The 47th annual Iowa Shrine Bowl will take place Saturday at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. between the North and South squads.

Jared Jensen, a 2001 Creston graduate, will be an assistant coach for the South team. Jensen is currently the head football coach at Sigourney Keota in Sigourney.

Also playing for the South team is Interstate 35’s Richie Griglione. Griglione and the Roadrunners were members of the Pride of Iowa Conference prior to this season where they moved to the West Central Activites Conference.

Pre-purchased tickets will be $11 while tickets bought at the door will cost $15. Children under the age of six will get in for free.

The Shrine Bowl will showcase 92 football athletes as well as 60 cheer squad members from around the state.
