There will be a wheat cutting, binding and shocking demonstration 4:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, July 1 and 2, on the SWCC Ag Farm located on North Lincoln Street in Creston. The binder will be pulled by horses, and the public is invited to be involved with this hands-on demonstration. (Rain date will be one week later.) This demonstration is sponsored by the Union County Historical Village.
The wheat will be thrashed two weeks later at the same time.
