Upper Iowa University

FAYETTE – Upper Iowa University has announced the dean’s list for the 2019 spring semester. To be honored, a student must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student. The honorees included Allison Norris of Diagonal who is a conservation management major.

Morningside College

SIOUX CITY – Morningside College recently conferred 134 Master of Arts in teaching degrees and 21 Master of Science in nursing degrees during its graduate commencement.

In addition to the spring graduates, degrees were conferred upon August and December 2018 graduates, as well as students expected to graduate in August 2019. They included:

• Kaci Hoskey of Corning, Master of Arts in teaching, August 2018

• Ashley Pegg of Corning, Master of Arts in teaching, anticipated August 2019

• Tiffany Green of Sharpsburg, Master of Arts in teaching, anticipated August 2019

Missouri State University

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Each semester, students at Missouri State University who attain academic excellence are named to the dean’s list including Sydney Suiter of Creston.

For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the spring semester and at least a 3.50 GPA (on a 4.00 scale).

Missouri State University conferred 2,941 degrees to students at its spring 2019 commencement May 17 at JQH Arena.

Students earned a total of 2,285 bachelor’s degrees, 551 master’s degrees, 96 doctorate degrees and nine specialist degrees including Sydney Despena Suiter of Creston with a Bachelor of Science in modern language.
