Adair County Sheriff

Heather Linn Armstrong, 27, of Jefferson was charged on an Adair County warrant for violation of probation on the original charges of possession with intent to sell and child endangerment 11:23 a.m. May 13 at the Polk County Jail.

Armstrong was being held until a bed is available at the Fresh Start Women's Center.

Morgan Sebastian Lukenbill, 20, of Adair was charged on an Adair County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while barred 11:32 a.m. Thursday at the Adair County Sheriff's office.

Lukenbill was released on $200 bond.

Joseph Lee Reynolds, 36, of Stuart was charged on an Adair County warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of second offense posession of a controlled substance and third degree theft 7:26 p.m. Thursday in Stuart.

According to an Adair County Sheriff's report, Reynolds failed to appear in court, did not contact the probation office and has not paid anything on his supervision fee.

Reynolds was released on $2,000 bond.

Larry Dean Vanderpluym, 57, of Orient was charged with assault with injury and posession of contraband in a correctional facility 8:22 p.m. Saturday at the Adair County Jail.

According to an Adair County Sheriff's report, Vanderpluym assaulted a victim after an dispute involving a camper where Vanderpluym had been living, which was owned by the victim. The victim stated Vanderpluym had wrecked a truck belonging to the victim, and the victim no longer wanted to allow Vanderpluym to live in the camper. After Vanderpluym was transported to the Adair County Jail, officers found paraphernalia: a device used to smoke marijuana and baggies and plastic containers, in his belongings.

Vanderpluym was released on $1,000 bond.
