Larry Davis, 77 of Creston died Friday, May 10, 2019, at EveryStep Hospice Home in Creston.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, at Pearson Family Funeral Service and Cremation Center, 809 W. Montgomery St., in Creston. Visitation with family present will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Cromwell at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Larry Ellis Davis, son of William Cleo and Lucille Katherine (Jones) Davis, was born Sept. 8, 1941, in Osceola. He attended school in Le Roy.
On Aug. 27, 1966, he married Joan Leona Reeve in Fontanelle. Larry drove a truck for Henningson Construction for about 20 years. He moved from Scranton to Creston six months ago.
Larry was a former member of a CB club earlier in life.
Larry is survived by his wife Joan Davis of Creston; children, Lisa (Chris) Murray of Creston, Rusty (special friend Cheryl Price) Davis of Creston, William Davis of Creston and Tammy (Tim) Case of Afton; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother Gary Davis of Creston; sister Marilyn (Bobby) James of Fontanelle; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; mother- and father-in-law, Neva and Gail Reeve; granddaughters, Ashley Davis and Zoey Biggs; and brothers-in-law, Darrell and Jerry Reeve.
