Robin Hood Archery Tournament to be held April 20

GREENFIELD – Greenfield Lions Club, along with the Nodaway Valley School archery team, will host a Robin Hood Archery Tournament for fourth grade through adults from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Nodaway Valley High School, 402 NW Second St., in Greenfield with doors opening at 7 a.m. Concessions will be provided by the Nodaway Valley Elementary Booster Club.

There will be four divisions: elementary school (fourth-fifth grade), middle school (sixth-eighth grade), high school (ninth-12th grade) and adults (out of school).

Tournament competition with eight flights (40 arrows) is planned with only Genesis bows to be used. The tournament host will have bows and arrows on hand and trophies will be awarded for the top three in each division. Cost for 18 years and younger is $5 and 19 years and older is $10.
