Keshav Kathikar, 46, of Wausu, Wisconsin, was charged with violation of a no contact order 12:39 a.m. Friday.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, Kathikar was sending text messages through a third party to the other person listed on the order.

Kathikar was released on $1,000 bond.

Janet Marie Scuturio, 41, of Corning was charged on a Douglas County, Nebraska warrant for child neglect, and two additional counts of child neglect and possession of a controlled substance 9:55 p.m. Friday.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, a deputy stopped Scuturio for failing to display license plates. While speaking with Scuturio, the deputy detected the overwhelming odor of marijuana in the vehicle. Scuturio said she had just purchase the marijuana in Red Oak. Scuturio had her two minor children in the vehicle with her.

Scuturio was being held on $5,000 cash only bond and was awaiting extradition to Douglas County.

Justin T. Horne, 34, of Omaha, Nebraska, was charged with OWI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and six counts of child endangerment 10:55 p.m. Friday on Highway 34.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, Horne was stopped for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone and having non-working taillights. While speaking with Horne, the deputy observed that Horne’s eyes were bloodshot and there was an overwhelming smell of alcohol coming from him. The K9 unit indicated the presence of narcotics and marijuana was found on Horne’s person. Two pipes were also found with marijuana residue. Horne consented to a field sobriety test, which he failed, and he admitted to smoking marijuana shortly before the stop

Horne was being held of $14,000 cash only bond.

Joleen Most, 31, of Corning was charged on an Adams County warrant for violation of a no contact order and third-degree harassment 11:45 p.m. Friday.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, the victim went into the Adams County Sheriff’s office to file a report of a violation of a no contact order. The victim said he gave a third party permission to pass on his phone number by making him think it was for someone else and making arrangement to get items off the property. The victim was also contacted by the bondsman asking for payment to settle Most’s bond because she gave the bondsman the victim’s phone number instead of her own on her paperwork. Most also arranged to have a vehicle towed from the victim’s property.

Most was being held on $1,200 cash only bond.
