The snow is on the downside and in a few days, it will be daylight saving time and then the first day of spring. That should put a smile on everyone’s face. Good thing they make snacks to get us through the winter.
I’m thinking of summer as the Southside Booster’s Club and Old Tyme Power Club will again be having the country music and homemade ice cream social at Rainbow Park. So mark your calendars for Saturday afternoon, June 15.
I’ll have more information as time gets closer. A new feature this year will be a car show, and possibly some other things. It should be a fun afternoon like last year.
Last year, Rick shuttled people back and fourth from their cars to the park, which helped a lot of people with lawn chairs. Hopefully that will be available again this year. Happy spring!
