Kathleen Marie Magill, 24, of Creston was charged with OWI 10:45 p.m. Saturday after a traffic stop on Highway 34.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, an officer witnessed a vehicle being driven erratically on Highway 34. The driver was identified as Magill.

Muhamed Blazevic, 53, of Des Moines was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs possession of controlled substance, possession of contraband in a correctional facility and failure to maintain control 6:57 p.m. Dec. 28.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, officers responded to a call concerning a vehicle in the ditch near Highway 34 and Avenue of Industries. While investigating, the K9 unit indicated the presence of narcotics. Several different prescription drugs were found in an unlabeled bottle. While Blazevic was being processed at the jail, an officer found a small clear bag with a crystalline substance which appeared to be methamphetamine.

Ryan Douglas Allison, 21, of Corning was charged with domestic assault 9:14 p.m. Dec. 30.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, Allison struck the victim in the face with a closed fist.

Nicole Leinna Murillo, 27, of Winterset was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension 1:44 a.m. Dec. 31 after a traffic stop on Highway 34. .

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, an officer observed Murillo operating a vehicle while her license was suspended. While investigating, the K9 unit alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. The officer searched the vehicle and found marijuana and a pipe with marijuana in it.

Cherrie Lee Palmer, 30, of Winterset was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia 1:44 a.m. Dec. 31 after a traffic stop on Highway 34.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, Palmer was the passenger in vehicle that had been stopped because the driver had a suspended license. During the stop, the K9 unit alerted to the presence of drugs and a search of the vehicle found marijuana and a pipe with marijuana in it.

Daniel Floyd Edwards, 35, of Red Oak was charged with third- or subsequent offense OWI, possession of a controlled substance, driving while barred, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, interlock device required, failure to follow SR-22 insurance 11:50 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 240th Street and Sycamore Avenue.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, an officer observed a vehicle sitting in the middle of the road at the intersection of 240th Street and Sycamore Avenue and identified the driver as Edwards. During the investigation, Edwards exhibited signs of intoxication and a K9 unit alerted to the presence of drugs. The officer found an open container of alcohol, a canister with marijuana wax inside and nine hypodermic needles with clear liquid and blood residue.

Edwards was being held on $20,000 cash only bond.
