Kiwanis
The weekly Kiwanis meeting was held 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 8, at the Windrow meeting room with 26 members and one guest. President Terry Freeman presided, Drew Henderson gave the prayer and Jim Nelson was the finemaster.
The club is planning on working Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Creston Archery Club’s 2D and 3D shoot; members signed up to help.
The program was given by Larry Peterson, feature writer with the Creston News Advertiser. He shared past headlines and memories of his reporting career – sports, features and personal events he covered that stood out from his time as a reporter.

Ladies Lakeshore Auxiliary met Jan 9.
Canasta winners were Gwen Sandeman, first; Connie Kerrigan, second; and Wanda Nash, third.
Linda Clark won the door prize.
