“Share a Toy” is a program for parents and grandparents who are short of money before Christmas. Parents and grandparents may come to the new “Share a Toy” building, 400 Fourth Ave., in Nodaway and pick out free, used toys for their children to have for Christmas. They are asked to not bring children along with them.
Times to come pick up the toys are the following:
10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8
2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9
2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13
2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15
2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16
Parents and grandparents:
1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18
1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19
Anytime after Dec. 9, and through Dec. 22, parents or grandparents may call 712-785-3311 to make an appointment to get toys.
People who would like to donate toys are asked to wait until after March 1, 2019, as the “Share a Toy” program has all the toys it can handle for this year.
