Come for a dose of Christmas spirit

From Judy Gile and Lynn Schlaht

Creston

We wanted to tell your readers about an enjoyable play for the whole family coming to Creston 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, at SWCC Performing Arts Center. It is called “Ho Ho Ho! The Santa Claus Chronicles” by Pat Cook, and it is filled with fun for all ages. It is being presented by Crest Area Community Theatre (CAT), and all volunteers have been working on this production since late September. There is lots of labor and energy poured into this project.

You, the reader of this letter, provide the final piece ... an audience for this evening to be a great success! You know, we hear “Shop Creston,” and why that is so important for our community. We are urging you to also “Shop Creston Arts,” by coming to this production presented by your friends, family and Creston neighbors. We need you.

After each scene, you will also have the pleasure of seeing some Creston area talent, which will provide even more cheer. These folks are willing to share their unique talents providing a special Christmas gift to you.

Mark your calendar for 7 p.m. Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 at the SWCC Performing Arts Center. Cost will be $10 per adults. An adult bringing one non-perishable food item for the local food pantries will pay $9 for their ticket. Children will be $5, if the child is under 12 years of age. Tickets will be available at the door.

Come for a wonderful dose of Christmas spirit!
