Ashley Elizabeth Walker, 27, of Osceola, was charged with forgery 4:38 p.m. Tuesday at 604 S. Elm St.
According to a Creston Police report, Walker used checks from an account that did not belong to her at several area businesses between Oct. 25 and Nov. 3. She wrote the checks without the victim’s consent or knowledge.
Walker was being held on $5,000 bond.

Natalie Denee Eslinger, 20, of Runnells, was charged on two Union County warrants for probation violation with additional charges for second-offense possession of a controlled substance and interference with official acts.
According to a Creston Police report, when officers served the warrants for Eslinger, they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in her possession. Eslinger also attempted to resist officers’ attempts to handcuff her and tried to prevent the officers from closing the door of the patrol car.
Eslinger was being held without bond on the warrants until seen by a judge and an additional $2,300 bond for the new charges.
