Southwestern’s Jada Perkins, Ashley Porter and Lyann Mena Rodriguez all earned recognition, following the completion of the 2018 season.
Perkins, who was named to the second team Region XI-B all-region team, ended the year with 302 kills, the most of any Spartans player.
The outgoing sophomore also had 346 digs and 38 total blocks over the course of the season.
Fellow sophomore and team captain Ashley Porter was named honorable mention to the ICCAC all-conference team released Monday.
As the team’s setter, Porter led Southwestern with 643 assists while also picking up 180 digs over the course of the season.
The Davis, Illinois native also added 15 kills and three total blocks in her final season with the Spartans.
Freshman Mena Rodriguez had a team-high 467 digs in the defensive specialist and libero roles this season.
Mena Rodriguez was third on the team with 110 assists and added two kills on two attack attempts.
Hailing from Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Mena Rodriguez is expect to return to the Spartans next season.
