Greater Regional Health provides wonderful care

From Martha Musmaker

Creston

Recently I was admitted as an inpatient at Greater Regional Health. I feel compelled to inform the community of what a wonderful health care facility we have in our community. Seventeen years ago, I retired as a registered nurse from the hospital after 30-plus years of employment at the hospital and felt that we delivered the best of care. My recent care exceeded my expectations.

The nursing care was outstanding. I found the nurses have the intellect, compassion, work ethic and desire to deliver the best of care. Many new technologies are available to them for that care.

The physician hospitalist is another positive advantage, as they are able to focus on solving the problems of the inpatient. When the patient is dismissed, the post-hospital care is turned over to the patient’s personal physician.

Other health care departments involved in delivering excellent care involved physical therapy, laboratory, dietary and housekeeping. We should all be very pleased and proud of the health care available at Greater Regional Health.
