Thank you to the three Union County beef producers who have donated animals to Food for Life so far this 2018.
Thank you to all who have contributed money that we use for secretarial needs and sometimes to buy meat.
Thank you to the Christmas Basket Fund for your contribution that has paid for the processing costs.
Two thousand pounds of meat has been distributed to four food pantries to help supplement meat for those families who need a “helping hand.”
Have you seen the Food for Life “flyers” in your church bulletins? The dedicated board members have been distributing these to their churches and other churches to help you better understand about this Union County mission project.
Weaver Meat Processing Plant in Afton is now licensed to process animals for Food for Life, so this will help with scheduling donated animals.
Corning Processing Plant in Corning has been with us for many years, and they have been so helpful to get our animals included as soon as they can into their busy schedule.
